Reflections

This project was divided into two phases, with the first four weeks dedicated to pre-production and establishing a working pipeline. Working in the team's self-built engine was enjoyable but also challenging, as it had many bugs in the beginning. To assist the programmers, we designers conducted thorough testing to identify and document these issues. As you can see in the top-downs above, my initial layout for the level underwent significant changes. This was due to the isometric perspective, which made it more difficult to spot enemies while moving downward in the level.
